Soapstone for carving

Minas Serp is a small-scale mining company based in Minas Gerais, Brazil. We have all the permits to extract soapstone, serpentinite and talc at our Marimbondo mine, located within the geological area of Santa Rita de Ouro Preto soapstone.

Our natural and soft soapstone is extracted directly from the quarry, separated by size and colour, and manually chipped out before shipping. This way, we keep all the natural shape and characteristics of each stone.

The colours may vary in light brown to green shades, and may have veins in between.

We have boulders and chunks in different sizes.
